  8. Language - Depending on your ambitions you may want to learn some Spanish but many Mexicans around coastal areas speak at least a little English and many are very fluent. There are also a multitude of apps available for your smart phone that can help cross the communication barrier. If you want to learn Spanish join the thousands of other students. It takes time and discipline and daily practice but it will come quickly to the dedicated.
